So we got a face painting kit. It was on clearance at Target and it just looked like so much fun that we had to have it. So know it is pretty much a given that my daughter will look like she just came from so sort of Renaissance fair, at any given point in time have on some sort of princess gown and her face decorated with art :)
So, the other day we were painting her face. She asked for a pig on one side and a cat on the other. As I was just finishing up the pig Tate comes in the room and asks if he can have a turn, WOW I am impressed and jump at the chance to let her Daddy bond over face paint with his sweet 3 year old daughter. I open the book to the picture of the cat she had wanted on her face and explain to him that she had asked for a pig on one side and a cat on the other. He explains to me that he has it covered. And this is what I come back to find......
I was horrified!!!! But the funny thing is that she thought it was great and when I compare the photos of my "face art" vs. Tates, Tatum does seems to look happier in his picture. Go figure!
