Last night Natalie took us and the girls to "Winter A Glow" at the Idaho Botanical Garden. It was such a good time (even thought it was freezing cold and Carley wore jelly shoes~poor girl...). The girls got to see Prancer and Santa. Teagan was so excited when she saw Santa! She screamed Santa! Santa! and she danced around :) When it was there turn to sit on his lap Teagan was not shy to lay her little head on his chest (eyes closed and all) and start petting the fur on his coat! UH!!! I wish I could bottle up that moment and open it up ever Christmas to experience it over and over again. And Tatum was worried that Santa had his list there and she might not be on the "Nice" side. But she was relieved that Santa did not have his list and he asked her what she wanted for Christmas and everything!!! What Fun!
I am so excited for this Christmas season. I know that it will not be full of spending and lavish gifts, but I am looking forward to the spirit of the season. I am looking forward to decorating our tree with my little family and dancing to the Chipmunks Christmas and making homemade candies. It is so fun to have these little people especially at this time of the year. They are such an example of the true love of Christ, which after all is the reason for the season.
This Friday and Saturday we will be having our aprons and adorable hair flowers in the Holiday House Boutique. You should drop by and take a look. There are going to be a ton of fun christmas gift ideas there! I posted a few of my favorite items that I will be sending. http://holidayhouseboutique.blogspot.com
Tomorrow is our first Holiday Bazaar! We have been really stressed but everything seems to have come together. Take a look:) Also as a "proud Mommy" I have to make note that while setting up Tatum asked if she could help, so I let her tag some items. I told her thank you and that she did a great job and she said "I just want to make you happy Momma" HONESTLY. What 3 year old says that??? I think I have a keeper! Now if only she would keep that attitude until she is 18!!!
So I set up a photo shoot with Nichole to get some fun shots of just me and my girls. She did such an AMAZING job! I have only seen a few proofs as of yet, but I am so excited that I had to share one of my favorites with you! And if you are in the Boise area and you are looking for a someone who will do a GREAT job take a look at Nichole's portfolio www.ampersand-studios.com
I can't believe that it has been 2 years since my Teagie was born. She is such a light in our lives. We love her spirit and her sense of humor. When I was pregnant with Teagan I was 100% sure that she was a boy and honestly when they told me she was a girl I was worried. I was worried that I couldn't have a girl because there was no way that I could love another girl as much as I loved Tatum. I know, it sounds silly now... but it was honestly a HUGE worry to me. And now I know that it is possible to love TWO little girls... One just as much as the Other!!! I am so grateful for Teagan! And I am 100 % completely in LOVE with this child!!! Happy Birthday Sweet Monkey!!!
Tates sisters invited the girls and I up to McCall to spend a few days with them. We had such a great time! I loved watching the girls bond with their cousins and get to spend just hanging out with my awesome sister in laws!!! It was such a a great break from reality! Thanks girls for the invite! We love you all!!!
So recently we got our first "custom" order off of Etsy (with the exception of Trisha :-)Thanks Trish! I hope Tami still LOVES her apron!) and that made me excited!!! So I feel the need to share some more beautiful aprons with you! And if you FALL in LOVE with one of them just make your way to bellagracecreations1.etsy.com
Last week my sister Mitzi came up to visit. It was SO nice to see her. Since she moved from Boise to Idaho Falls she has been missed way too much. SO it was great to get my Mitzi fix! We all decided to spend a few days in beautiful Cascade and relax, swim, paint our nails, you know all the good stuff!!! If only we got to do it more often... My girls had such a great time with their cousins and before we knew it our time was up. So come back soon Mitzi and girls!!! We love you!!!
Last Sunday we took a drive up to Silver City. We had so much fun, the girls were awesome in the car and they were so much fun to take around Silver City. On the way up we are driving and I notice all these weird black rocks all over the road, then I notice that they start to move! Uck!!! They are alive! There are Mormon Cricket ALL OVER. Honesty it was nasty, so as any loving wife would do, I made my husband get out so I could take a picture of him standing in the middle of all the nastiness. He did get back at me though as he took me on a "fun" drive up steep, skinny, rock roads to the top of the highest point. I was freaked out, but luckily my girls are braver than me! They had a blast! Oh, fun times!!!
Last week we took a girls trip to Cascade, and I mean all girls!!! Little girls! Kate and I were brave, two 3 year olds, one 23 month old and a 10 month old... I mean BRAVE!! But we had so much fun. We roasted marshmellows, walked by the river, took a day trip to McCall to play on the beach and even had lunch at Lardos. It was so nice to just get away! Thanks for a fun time Kate!!!
So, our Esty shop is up and running! We are slowly but surely get aprons made and put on the site. Check us out and do it often because we are ALWAYS adding NEW ADORABLE aprons!!! BellaGraceCreations1.etsy.com
So my friend Kate and I have been making Aprons! It started by us wanting aprons for ourselves and now we are addicted!!! We have made them for gifts for bridal showers, for birthdays, and we have even taken a few "special orders". Soon we will be selling them on Etsy.com but for now I though I would give you all a little preview :) Check back for more soon....
Let me start by saying Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers. What a wonderful calling to have. I still have to pinch myself sometimes when I think about this awesome gift of motherhood. I tell my Tate often that I could keep a better house, or fold laundry more or do all those other motherly duties better but I could never love my girls more than I do. I don't think it is possible for anyone to love more than this. They are the one thing that causes the overwhelming feeling of love in me, I mean the kind that makes you feel like your heart is going to jump right out of your chest. I remember the first time I realized what it meant to be a mother. It was like some kind of revelation to me :) I mean, I was never one of those little 12 year old girls that was so Ga Ga over babies and couldn't wait to baby sit or go hold all the babies at church. In fact I was the opposite. Babies terrified me. I was scared to be a Mom, I was afraid i wouldn't be good at it. And then there was Tatum. That little 3 and a half pound miracle. She made me realize what love was and what it meant to be a mother. I remember my first mothers day I sat down to write in my mothers card the normal stuff. You know... "to the best mom ever" that stuff... And then it hit me. I understood. I understood how my mom feels about me. I understood how much she loved me and how much I was a part of her soul. Because I had my own little one who grew in me and took a part of my soul with her. I understood what it was to be a mother and to know that there wasn't anything greater in the world than that. As noble of a calling as there could be. I love all you mothers for being such wonderful women and for all you do everyday, because life is in the details. Happy Mothers Day.
