Our Art...

So we got a face painting kit. It was on clearance at Target and it just looked like so much fun that we had to have it. So know it is pretty much a given that my daughter will look like she just came from so sort of Renaissance fair, at any given point in time have on some sort of princess gown and her face decorated with art :)
So, the other day we were painting her face. She asked for a pig on one side and a cat on the other. As I was just finishing up the pig Tate comes in the room and asks if he can have a turn, WOW I am impressed and jump at the chance to let her Daddy bond over face paint with his sweet 3 year old daughter. I open the book to the picture of the cat she had wanted on her face and explain to him that she had asked for a pig on one side and a cat on the other. He explains to me that he has it covered. And this is what I come back to find......

I was horrified!!!! But the funny thing is that she thought it was great and when I compare the photos of my "face art" vs. Tates, Tatum does seems to look happier in his picture. Go figure!

You May Be A Red Neck If...

You might be a red neck if you shot your daughter birthday ballons with a rifle in the back yard. Tate and Tatum have this thing where when if she gets a ballon (from a resturant or where ever) when she is done playing with it they go outside and Tatum lets it go and Tate shoots it. So you can image how the reminance from her party were handled.... Tate required additional help from Uncle Ty.

The Princess Party

So yesterday was Tatum's Birthday and we decided to have a little party for her. It was so much fun! We dresses up in all our "Royal" gear, made Crowns and Wands, opened Gifts, ate Pizza and jumped in a Jump House (thank you Kate :))!!! Wow what a day! The kids all had a great time and it was so fun to watch them.

Tatum Turns 3!

I can't believe that it was 3 years ago today that we had Tatum. She is such a blessing in our lives and I could not even try to imagine our lives without her. Three things that I ABSOLUTLY LOVE about Tatum:
1. She is SO considerate of other people and there feeling (ie she always compliments me when she thinks I look good :))
2. She is has a GREAT sense of HUMOR and her sarcasim is a rare find, especially in a 3 year old.
3. She is VERY EXCITED about EVERYTHING!
We Love you so much Tatum and we are SO happy that Heavenly Father sent you to us! Happy Birthday Love!
