The Jumping Bean!

Tatum is no longer walking or running to get where she is going...she is JUMPING! It is pretty cute, especially when she gets out of the tub and I can not catch her! Her little naked bum jumping down the hall way is just so funny I have to laugh out loud!

Turning 30!

Well... it happened. I had belonged to the "I will never turn 30 club" and I have officially been KICKED OUT! I had not given much thought to turning 30, until December 13th rolled around and it happened. I think mentally that I am stuck at 23, that is how old I feel at least. Yea, I think I will stay 23.... that will do. I mean, I have always been pretty secure in who I am as a whole and age never mattered much, honestly it is is a number right? -WRONG- it is so much more. It is wrinkles
and gray hair (yes, I have GRAY hair and I have had some since I has 23 but it didn't bother me not until I turned 30! Funny huh), it is then ugly veins in my legs (thank you Teagan!) and stretch marks on my belly (thank you Tatum and Teagan!), a slower metabolism (which I never thought it could get much slower, but it has...) and fatigue, constant fatigue ( maybe that comes from these two baby girls! Teagan is still not sleeping though the night and Tatum thinks that she needs to get up at 6am!). Gosh! With all of that where is the sunshine? On a brighter note, I have to count my blessings. I know who I am, I have a SWEET husband who loves me despite me being 30, two BEAUTIFUL girls who remind me everyday why it is all worth it and an awesome family (both my own and Tates) who I honesty could not live without. So there it is. What it is to be 30. The good, the bad and the ugly! All in all I am a pretty lucky lady!

Angie brought me a birthday cake (thank you Ang!) which Tatum just had to taste. This is what was left of it after she was done! I did manage to get one bite :)

Tate brought me these Beautiful roses and took to The Melting Pot for fondue! We had a great time, it was like we were dating again! I think it was the first time we had left Teagan (thank you Ann!) and it was so relaxing!

I do have to say that I was spoilt this year! Natalie and Nichole decided to combine my birthday and Christmas gift and the got my this darling Coach wristlet. I was so surprised to open this gift. What can I say I LOVE it!!!

Tatums New Smile

Tatum has recently learned how to "smile" for the camera... unfortunately her father and I don't find it so attractive. What do you think?

The Big Sister

A few weeks ago "aunt Trish" sent Teagan and Tatum the cutest outfits! The tops that went with them were labeled 'lil sister' and 'big sister'. I can now officially say that Tatum has a favorite piece of clothing. If fact not only does she want to wear this cute little shirt day after day, it is even a struggle to get it off of her when bed time comes. Not only does it announce to the world that indeed she is the 'big sister' but it also has butterflies and glitter on it! What can I say "aunt Trish' knows how to pick out a cool shirt!

Teagan Special Day

On Sunday the 2nd of December Teagan Ann was blessed. We had been slacking and missed the opportunity in both October and November to bless her. Luckily she still fit into her beautiful dress that her Aunt Mitzi made as a gift for her. She was just so darling in it and she had a sort of glow to her that afternoon. I think she knew that it was her day! The expression on her face when Tate brought her up to be blessed was priceless, she was just beaming! I loved it!

Thank you to all of you who were a part of her blessing and came to spend her special day with us. We love you!

Ying and Yang

Could they be any more different? From conception these two have been polar opposites. My pregnancy with Tatum was complicated and her arrival was 6 weeks early and with Teagan things were by the book and she came almost 2 weeks late. Tatum weighted 3.6lbs and Teagan was almost twice that at 7.4lbs. Tatum was nicknamed the "Drama Queen of the NICU" by the nurse staff and Teagan is so calm. Tatum is olive skined like her mamma and her eyes are a dark hazel. Teagan is so light and her eyes are the most beautiful blue color. Yes, they are so different... but one thing they do have in common is that they are both LOVED way too much!!!

Tripple Cousins

Tracen-4 months, Tatum-22 months, Taya-7 months and Teagan-2 months

A few weeks ago we had "the cousins" over for dinner and games. It was so much fun seeing the little ones all together. It seems like it was yesterday that all the parents we newlyweds and now we all have little families. I love it! Tatum is crazy over all the "babies" especially Baby Taya (who is almost the same size as Tatum even though they are 14 months apart). It is going to be so much fun watching them all grow up together.

Fall Daze

I love the fall! It seems that this season doesn't last long enough for me though! Tatum has enjoyed the changing color of the leaves and stepping on the fallen ones to hear the crunch sound. Infact it seems to take us twice as long to travel down the sidewalk these days if it is covered in leaves because she has to make sure she steps on each and evey one of them!

Flying

I really love this quote. Sometimes it seems as though I feel I have been left alone to handle things. And I feel so inadequate; I ask myself "who am I to be given such an important job and so many responsibilities". It is easy to forget that I am not meant to do this on my own. Faith is sometimes hard to come by, especially when it seems you need it the most.

Jumperoo!

We just got Teagan a "Jumperoo". I was hoping that she might take to it right away, but I still think she may be too little to figure out what to do with it, but she did have a nice conversation with the red bird that is hanging on it!

Sunday Morning

I love getting the girls all dressed for church they look so cute! Teagan is always good at church and Tatum is "adjusting" to her nursery class. This week was a particularly hard week for Tatum. When I opened the door to her class and turned to get Tatum, she was laying flat on the floor crying. So, we took a walk and tried again, and sure enough...as I opened the door again she was flat on the floor! So we will have to try again next week.

Happy Halloween

Fun Trick OR Treating!

On Halloween we went over to the Kallias' house for so Trick or Treating and a pizza party. The girls had a great time, especially Tatum and Hannah! Hannah was the cutest little Lion and Tatum was a "headless" chick (the hat scared her!)! And Teagan stole the show as the sweetest Mermaid ever!

The Great Pumpkin

The Tripple Family!

Um Yummy!
!

Last week we went out to the pumpkin patch with some friends of ours and we had so much fun. Tatum and her friend Hannah loved playing in the jumphouse and eating fresh doughnuts! They also thought it was a great time to get to play in the pumpkin patch although the vines we prickly and we found our fair share of goatheads (yucky!).

We Love Teagan

Such a Cutie!

Ready for the park!

Teagan and her Papa

A Day In The Life

What do we have here?

It is always interesting to me to see what Teagan has in her swing with her when I come into the room after leaving for a moment or two. Tatum is so eager to share that it is hard to get upset at her. So far we have had baby dolls, hand sanitizer, chew toys, numberious binkies, blankets and the best - a Mr. Potato Head Fireman Hat. Teagan is one LOVED child thanks to her big sis!

Say Hello to Maili

Well, we did it! On Saturday Tate and I drove to Rupert to look at a few Jack Russell puppies, and this little girl stole our hearts! Tatum is really excited to have a puppy to play with and that makes us happy (though she does keep calling her Porter and that is a little sad). She has been really fun so far. I know many of you may be thinking "hummm a 21 month old, a 7 week old and a puppy... is she CRAZY!" and the answer to that is YES!!!

Blessings

Blessings.... these two are the most wonderful gifts from heaven!

No More Porter...

As some of you may have heard, we lost our belove dog Porter. He was our first born and Tatums best buddy! We hope that wherever Porter is that it is a good place, but we sure do miss him. Tate and I are now on the hunt for another dog. But it will take a lot to fill Porters shoes!

Welcome Teagan

Teagan Ann Tripple
Finally Teagan decided to join our little family on September 2nd. After being 11 days late and enduring 31 hours of labor, Teagan arrived in only 2 pushes! The Dr. was so shocked, we were on the verge of another c-section when Teagan decided to give in and join the rest of us in the real world! When the Dr. checked one last time before going to the operating room, Teagan was ready. Because most first timers usually push for close to an hour the Dr. decided go brush his teeth (random! I know!!) and the nurse ended up delievering Teagan after only 2 pushes! He said that he hadn't seen anything like that in a while. Everyone was excpecting a large baby, based on my tummy size and the fact that she was almost 2 weeks late. To our suprise Teagan was a perfect 7lb 4oz's, 20 1/4 in long and had a full head of hair (unlike her big sister who was bald until her 1st birthday!). Everyone asked if she seemed big compared to Tatum (who was a whopping 3.6lbs at birth), but she just seemed perfect and healthy! I just wanted to keep her that little forever! But now 6 weeks later she is growing so fast and I am savoring every moment with her!
